You walk in to a home and chances are you find yourself in someones living room.
Now I'm willing to bet that at least 95% of the time the television is acting as the SUN.
Let me explain.
Furniture from the future?
Don't be mislead by the title.
This isn't some naive attempt to correlate furniture with the "Delorian" from back to the future. Albeit there are striking similarities between the two, I doubt a couch could warp the space time contimuem while simotaneously saving Marty McFlies life. But I am starting to feel like a lot of new design and fashions that engulf the contemporary furniture realm are starting to look a lot futuristic, and I love it.
Everyone loves having a home that they can be proud to show off to other people. When guests come over we love having someone tell us how great our house looks when they come in. Sometimes guest noticed the decorations on the wall like a unique painting. Other times people will notice the sweet home entertainment system that is in the living room. However furniture is something that every guest will notice and having great looking modern furniture is a key component of any living room.
The Hang It All Coat Rack is a superior product compared to other similar products. It features 14 hooks verses the 8 or 10 found in the department stores. In addition, it doesn’t cause problems when you open and close the door because it is not an over the door apparatus. I am very happy with my Hang It All Coat Rack because it is has more hooks than the one from my local department store. Yes I did have to drill 4 holes in my door, but when you remove it, the holes are easy to cover up with some light spackling and paint. The convenience and increased performance is well worth the installation considerations.
I think of my room as my little studio. I have my bed, my living room, and my office within one place. It is quite cozy. Creating and reinventing your bedroom or any room for that matter can be a good thing. I find that it helps bring in the new and aids in keeping you motivated by enabling you to see possibilities. Sometimes life can feel stagnate, and you just need a change, even a little change will do. It is really a matter of perspective.
It’s getting cold out there and we are going to be spending more time inside. For some people that will be difficult, especially if you are an outdoor type of person. Time to bring out those warm and cozy blankets and make your place more comfortable for those long hours you will be spending at home. Hmmm, what is going to cheer you up and keep you warm and cozy when the temperature dips? Time to think in terms of what you want inside in order to make your lounging more fulfilling. Are you in need of a new living room set or bedroom set?
While you may be just as capable as any other in assembling furniture or you may actually enjoy the task, you still may have reasons for not wanting to. Instead of ordering your furniture and having it sit in a box in your home for a number of weeks until you can get to it, why not just hire someone to do it for you? I am sure you have better things to do, right? Well it is nice to know you have options when the need arises. This information is good to have handy for when the time comes and you do need assembly done and you don’t have the time or energy to get it done.
Kudos’s to designers across the country for making the lives of people all over more enjoyable. Thanks to websites and blogs such as Houzz everyone can enjoy your creative talents; it is a great way to shop for the designer that you prefer too. It is like living vicariously through your pictures.
As I was contemplating today’s topic, I had an idea to try something different for a change. I set out to look at some of the products that we carry and place them together as if I was designing a dining room. Mind you, it has been years since I have dabbled in interior design and planning, so I was curious to see if I could. But it is kind of hard to visualize the final outcome unless I draw it out. The first thing that I picked out was the 2 Dufresne Red Velveteen Dining Chairs. I like these because they are unusual and velvet and I thought that they would go well with the Roca Dining Table.
