As I think back to the trip my mom and I took to Italy, I was amazed by how the immaculate Roman Colosseum's architecture was. And first gazing at the tall buildings in New York City during a perfomance trip with my sister- our jaws literally hit the floor. Although these sites were both immensely stunning, their was a HUGE difference in architecture. Nothing compares to the most beautiful ancient architecture Earth has to offer. This week, we take a look.

Key points of the Spoke Clock-wooden spokes, narrow metal hands and a face made up of metal as well. Seems pretty insignificant, however this clock along with other famously designed clocks like Star Clock and Sunburst Clock have a double meaning. So important, every housewife and businessman had one up on their walls...

St. Patrick's Day is the only day out of the year it is acceptable to wear green, throw parades, keep four leaf clovers for good luck and talk about leprechauns all day! Wait, but was St. Patrick actually Irish? All answers will be revealed in this week's blog.

As Labor Day weekend approaches, the unofficial end of summer comes with it. As always the summer goes by too quickly and we are soon planning for the upcoming barrage of holidays. Labor Day also has an added bonus of a day off from work. We celebrate Labor Day to honor working men and women who have helped make our country strong. It has been a national holiday in the United States and Canada since 1894.

When I met my husband, I could see right away he would make for an amazing dad someday. All it took was seeing him with his cat, Roxy. She was the queen of his apartment and Roxy let me know that indisputable fact as soon as I met her. My husband surely treated her like a queen and I could see his loving and caring personality shine in his love for Roxy. Sixteen years and three kids later, he is a remarkable dad, I was right. This Sunday we honor our dads, grandpa’s, stepdads, and other father figures in our lives with Father’s Day. Such an important figure in our lives deserves a day to relax and just be appreciated for all they do for us. Here are some EZ and memorable ways to celebrate.

April is my favorite month, its right when spring is getting into full effect, the gardens all throughout town are looking luscious and as lovely as ever, the air is fresh from all the blooming flowers giving off that pure oxygen.
